Sail Experience And Explore Daytrip

Ever think about trying sailing or fancy a bit of exploring Scotland’s amazing coastline from the water? Want to know what it’s like to step onboard an ocean racing yacht and slip lines from the marina? Join us onboard Scotland’s premier ocean racing yacht, Taeping, for a day out on our popular day sail in the beautiful waters of the Clyde. Learn a little bit about what sailing is all about or just enjoy the experience “oot on the watter”.

Joining at Kip Marina, Scotland’s Premier marina, we will begin with important familiarisation and safety briefings. Heading out into the sheltered waters of the Clyde we aim to hoist a sail (or two), switch off the engine and enjoy some time on the water. With our crew on hand to guide you and answer any questions you may have you can get as involved as you wish. Have a go at helming, help the crew to hoist a sail or just sit back and enjoy the experience.

The exact itinerary will be weather dependent but we will aim to include the activities below;

• Join at 09:30

• Safety Brief

• Heading out

• Cruising the Clyde

• Lunch at Anchor

• More Clyde Cruising

• Returning to port to depart by 16:30

Cost:

£ 115 per person inclusive of all onboard costs

NOTE:

– The cost of this event includes all food, fuel and berthing charges.

– Sailing activity is weather dependent. If conditions are too severe training may be postponed, cancelled or the passage plan adjusted.

– Guests need to arrange their own travel to/from Kip Marina
